whats a vegran?

Published by chloeddot at 9:30 pm under Health, Vegan Edit This

Today at work it came up in conversation that I was vegan. And I got a few funny questions, I don’t want to say stupid because everyone is so nice, but i got:

  • “whats a vegran?”

  • “can you not eat potatoes then?!”

  • girl1: “what about yeast?” girl2: ” yeah, i wouldn’t be able to give up bread”

  • me: “i have a pretty good immune system” boy1: “you’d not think that with all the things you can’t eat”

  • “what’d happen if you DID eat cheese then?”

I am going to wear a pedometer all next week because I must be doing aloooooooot of steps, it’ll tell me how far I have walked too which will be interesting to know. At least to me. 10,000 is the recommended amount of steps. On the first day my feet got torn apart by my shoes and walking, I have a huge hole in the back of my right foot. Its not nice. I have ruined 2 pair of tights too.

I havn’t been eating that good though I don’t think. Last two days I have been too tired to make myself things to take in, so settled for crap they sell there, although today i discovered a humous sandwich they sell, with loads of salad stuffed in, on tomato bread. 0.2 grams of salt, which is good huh? Esp for a pre packed sandwich. Next week I’ll do better I am sure. Then I’ll weigh myself and report back, its its a loss that is :P

Oh yes, and Wagamamas yesterday was awesome. I got a special that I cant even remember the name of, but it was a noodle tofu salad nom, there was so much I couldn’t eat it all. The company I had was the best part though :)
